Latinwo Olugbenga is an Entrepreneur, STEM Education Enthusiast and “Girls in STEM” proponent. He is presently the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at Steamledge Limited, an Education and Technology company actively building Africa’s Largest engineering Eco-system.
He is a motivational speaker and personal development coach with 10 years of hands-on working experience setting up and seeing start-up companies through its early years. He has successfully secured and managed high value IT projects, managing project teams.
Olugbenga started his career in Radio Frequency engineering - Telecommunications with Apeksha Telecoms PVT India in 2009 as a Trainee Engineer and later resumed as Team lead at Telinno Consulting Limited working on numerous turnkey 2G/3G Etisalat/MTN/Zain-Airtel Nigeria Network Optimization projects across Southern, Eastern and Northern Nigeria.
He later co-founded Quadrev Limited an Information Technology Company in 2011 and was responsible for the company’s business development as well as created the Telecoms Training centre of Quadrev Limited as the Program Director implementing modern skills acquisition methods in Radio Frequency Network planning and Optimization.
He is certified with proficiency as a (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) MCTS, and (Red Hat Certified Engineer - RHCE), Cisco Certified Networking Associate professional training, Hardware & Networking, from various Telecoms and IT schools and Training Institutes amongst them are (ZTE University Hyderabad, Convergence Labs-Hyderabad, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Zoom Technologies, Banjara Hills, India. He also bagged a Diploma in RF Engineering from School of Technology Leaders, Bangalore India.
He also co-founded and hosted the first African Association of physics Student and African Conference of Physics Students (ACPS). As a STEM Enthusiast, he has mentored over 7500 students in primary and secondary schools to gain early access to Technology Education. A Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator, “Girls in STEM-Closing the STEM Gap and a Microsoft Community Member. He was a speaker at Teach Meet International @ BETT Excel London 2020.
He creates time for social impact through mentoring organizational teams, start-ups and young talents to build a matching skill set to access global opportunities for the “Future of Work”
